Android 6.0.1 is not a rumor anymore. Google has begun the roll-out of the first minor revision to Marshmallow for the 2nd gen Android One devices. If you have one of these devices, XDA Senior Member 1cefire prepared a TWRP/PhilZ/CWM flashable zip with /boot and /system partitions. Keep in mind that it’s not an OTA, which is yet to be captured.
