Google employs a team of security experts under “Project Zero” to find zero-day exploits. The team researched the Galaxy S6 Edge, and in the span of a week discovered 11 security exploits that allow for the device to be compromised. Fortunately, Samsung has responded to the team’s efforts and has already patched 8 out of 11 exploits, and is promising the remaining to be fixed in a November OTA.
