Tasker, the most popular and complex Android automation app, has received a new beta update that fixes many issues stemming from the Marshmallow update. Because Tasker requires so many permissions and sensors, it’s no surprise that 6.0’s doze mode interferes with Tasker. You can see the changelog here or follow the external link to the download page for the beta. An interesting new feature is the Cyanogenmod custom Tasker tile, which allows you to create your own tile to launch Tasker tasks.
