Multiple application developers with the term ‘Cardboard’ in the name of their app are starting to have their applications removed from the Play Store. Google has a trademark on the term and if they don’t protect it then they could lose it if they were ever to get challenged in court. Developers are now using ‘for Cardboard’ in the app name to remedy this conflict.
