Backing up application data on Android has been a pain for years but it looks like that is changing in Android 6.0. We’ve known about this new feature since Google I/O, but we didn’t know how it would perform for the end user. Ron from Ars did some testing recently and as long as the application targets Marshmallow’s level 23 API, it seems to work very well.
